According to the BBC, by 2010 we could be swamped in a sea of miniature computers.
"...They'll be woven into our clothing as identification markers during manufacture..."
"...They might tell your washing machine what cycle to use, or monitor bio-signs to alert us to impending illness...."
Apparently there will be no end to what could be micro chipped. But surely we won't be that lazy, unable to press a button on a washing machine to select a cycle? Imagine what a self aware towel will do? I mean you dry yourself and it keeps making you dryer...and dryer....and dryer. Can you imagine the horror of being way too dry? Although the bio-sign idea could be a hit.
