diffrent playstyle

Well over the last couple of years we shared together ppl tend to use terms like roleplayers and elite alot as pointing out diffrent way of playing the game.

Also terms of causal players witch some ppl made lots of comments about.

But always a red line been followed in these remarks, roleplayers sawks and elite players rocks.

I would like to strike alittle blow at elite gamers then with this link and maybe if we are lucky we will some elite players show there true colours and paste some screenshots of themselves.

im not totaly sure how showing pics of ppl dressed as their character strikes a blow against ingame elitism but that link makes me wana play city of heros

also the terms "roleplayer" and "casual" when used on these forums 99% of the time dont coraspond with the actual meaning.

That's the way some of your so called elite players may see it. I highly doubt that any of our "roleplayers" (I guess you could expand the group to casual players as well) would say that about him self or would say it the other way round.

Most roleplayers still have the advantage over the 1337 dudes though. They don't care that others try to offend them with that kind of stuff. It doesn't mean a thing (and that's good ).

On a serious note... Ive always thought of the people who play this game as heavy metal gothic types? or 90% of the population who play? Just my vision of it
I on the other hand work 4 on 4 off, when i get in i take a shower, get a beer, put MTV on and then load up DAoC! I class this as chilling after a hard days work!
Most days i head to the gym about 7pm GMT but sometimes varies depending if i cba to go in the evening. I used to be out every Thursday, Friday, Saturday, Sunday and Monday nights on the piss but Thanks to DAoC, it has saved me 'alot' of money in the long run!! I still go out a couple of weekends a month now and some Monday nights also!
Luckily ive still got all me mates i had before i started daoc as you definately seem to neglect them a little lol. Youve just got to make time for both ya mates and the game you enjoy!
At the end of the day, its a game and i play it as a game! Over 3yrs of playing DAoC with the cummunity, you make quite a few friends and have a good laugh with people.
I would like to think i can give u Mids/Hibs a good fight whilst having fun but i would also say im a casual player at the end of the day!

Studying to become a teacher for maths and physics here. Although I like metal I also like classic music. I dress the way I feel, today I wear a blue jeans and a blue/white t-shirt and well... tomorrow is my birthday and we'll have a party and afterwards we're going to the cinema for Star Wars III.
