Different specs?

How is anyone to know if they are a better player than someone else? Go to Albion and get the Uber alts? Ok, sounds fine. But what if the only real differences were looks and racial differences? Would peeps still play on a different realm? Well i would for one. Why not same advantages open to all - worked for UO so why not here?

Only way to sort out who is best is to get access to the same gains - eh - makes fecking sense to me.

if everyone was the same it would be abit dull tbh, the reason there are difference's is because every class, group and realm have their strengths and weaknesses, also it makes for some great comical whine threads! :lol:

sad part is it would be cool to be all different if Mythic actually managed to balance the 3 realms...

Let them have a talk with blizzard ... Starcraft is the perfect example how 3 completely different sides can be perfectly balanced.

After Counterstrike starcraft is still the game with most online players... and the 3 sides are 33%/33%/34% winratio... with that 1% switching between the 3 on a regular base.

UO is a bad example as there are no 3 "countries/sides" there ... just one and everybody more or less has the same skillpoints as one spec is "ub0r" (sold my account a month ago <sniff>).

I was just thinking last night that maybe they should concider balancing it so that one on one the "equal" chars would have a 33%/33%/34% winratio ... so Nightshade/Shadowblade/inf ... and scout/hunter/ranger ... this would probably mean losing the hunters pet... and downgrading the scouts bowdamage for some meleedamage... nerfing scoutblocking... etc etc

So more or less totally not going to happen
