Did you ever feel sorry while killing someone in RvR....for example:

Your 3fg zerg killed a grey luri that was clearly levelling on the lvl 20 mobs
Your fg camped the boat-spot and you killed the only hib that had the guts to show up and defend a tower
All your groupmates decided to spare the lvl 40 mid but you pressed your bolt by accident and you one-shot the mid

Last night for the first time in nearly three years I almost felt sorry for the 1 hib that got off the boat for probably his first rvr trip.

So any of you had any experiences that made you feel sorry?

I was roaming pennies few months back, saw 3 albs and was lining up a shot but got unstealthed while doing so. Switched to rapid hoping to get at least some damage done only to find out they were green all of them :(

I apologised in the alb forum :)

However, last few days I do kill greys in HW, Mid and Hib frontier. They're not there for XP, they're there just to leech and they don't stay out of the fight, so I don't let em be!

I felt sorry for the Blue Con hunter at glenlock during the siege yesterday. I killed while he was stealthed at about 2k units away and preparing to fire. Dropped him 1 arrow. I know how it feels to have someone see you at clip and not being able to do anything about it (aka see hidden on o/p sb's).

I cant remember his name though (

used to be first time I saw a soloer in HW (on an HG RvR night) we splatted them and thought "rah get out of albion!" (or more like - go get some pals we wanna fight... not too many though please we're all gimps)

second time I felt a bit guilty

if they were still solo third time I'd probably let them go ;)

Felt sorry for various Hibs in the last few days that havent a clue what to do without GP.

Unbelievable numbers of them standing around mezzed while half their group dies, hunting for the purge button.

Unless of course the Hib version of Purge1 has a 20sec+ delay instead of 5 :p

I feel sorry for every midd/ hibb I ever killed. They come straight to FH and claim to be zurged.

I feel sorry for all the midds who have played in Overpowered realm for for years, and argue with the most underpowered realm CAN compete coz there EX-realm mates AD rawks Excal so much.

Alb : Midds are OP
Midd: stfu AD bla bla bla

I used to feel sorry for low RR Hib caster's in the Old Frontiers who QC stunned me only to get brutally smacked down before they could get another spell off... Det 5 was great fun! ;)

Although I'd have to qualify that by saying that I laughed at the high RR Casters who didn't learn and continued to do the same... and yes, there were RR8/9 and even RR10 casters who used to try to QC stun me all the time! (Hi Athina!) :p

In New Frontiers, I feel sorry for all the people who dislike zerging and prefer roaming as 1fg and are unable to due to the excessive zerging and keep sieges. :(

I never feel sorry.

I've suffered enough xp deaths at the hands of Mids/Hibs during my levelling/questing days to frankly not give a crap. I know there are some good honourable players in the other realms, but I'm not about to wait to find out.

Kill em. No sympathy and move on before their mates turn up.

Shadowlords formed a guild on Hib/Pryd called Scathanna Tiarnas.

At level 20 we went out to frontier to farm badgers as 2fg. A level 50 Mincer came along and we totally wtfpwned him. I kind of felt sorry for him having to explain he died to 16 level 20s..not once but 3 times :). Our whole guild got like 500rps each at lvl 20 from him.

I was XPing in DF at Souls mid side, and a stealther walks by. I can't remember the name, but it was an Alb female class. I was standing there with my Warrior Troll.

But instead of engaging me and killing me, she unstealthed, emoted and we showed off glowie weapons and jumped around. Suddenly she get's an arrow in the side and a hunter kills her :(

I /cry and /hug her, while I /slapped the hunter - He didn't understand. He thought he saved my butt.

Cheers to stealthers who spares 40-45 peeps and not only greycons only

Probably could now that my only trick up my sleeve is Snapshot

Personally I never killed greys or low cons deliberatly so never had reason to feel sorry, that was until Mythic did the stupid 35+ conning yellow change which in my opinion caused far more lowbie deaths then it stopped.

After that I felt guilty alot everytime I killed someone thinking it would be a fair fight only for them to appear blue or green afterwards. Most memorable instance being whilst travelling to Dodens with Kestrel as a duo and we came across a dwarf nearby, I thought he was on way to Odins so told Kes to stay back whilst I went to 1 on 1 him, and he turned out to be blue or green exping there. That made me feel bad, I prefer fair fights as much as its possible in this game, but Mythic only cares about its 'epic battles'.
