Mine held between 52 to 57 kb steadily, took about an hour and 20 minutes or so for the whole download. I also had to restart the thing about nine times, due to the download cruising to a complete halt (I had no other processes running either).

I guess BT Broadband should actually be called Fatband, because it seems to spend all its time proving that its slimmer than it actually is.

Goa belongs to Wanadoo which is the second largest internet provider in Europe (after T-online). I don't think it's too hard for them to get über connection

I know my connection has DL'd the file at mx speed. But if you read GOA's news item, they do say this speed is for this week-end only.

They must have paid for a substantial increase in bandwidth for the weekend.
