Did goa think twice with the LA nerf?

Nerfing zerkers i belieave is a reasonable thing to do no arguing.

But there is another thing here, the sbs.

We now have a pretty even match towards infils and most other classes. If things are on our side we win, if things are on opponents side we loose. And if they nerf LA badly, will we ever win then? How bad is the nerf? Is it timetogocb bad?

52% damage reduction on comeback, 30-40% reduction on other styles, so ye its bad. zerkers doing bm damage etc, and sb's are gonna be hit hard.
time to quit the game i think, mythic dont know what the hell they are doing.

_no_styles_in the dual wield line is any good for a infil.

Things are quite even, as you say fights can go either way. LA is, in my opinion, what balanced us. (Mythic say extra hitpoints but I'd rather take the 2.5 spec points tbh ).
With 40% damage reduction (that's leaving them with 40% hit points they wouldn't have had), I can't possibly see how we will be balanced. To take LA, SBs have to have less weapon, less CS or less envenom.

I'm sure that extra 100 hits I have will see me through.

sbs are just going to go the same way as ns no dual wielding atleast what i have heard most nightshades dont spec alot in celtic dual. So they can spec other things higher, so sbs will prolly go 2 handed now?

LA isnt like CD or DW. Using two weps in mid reduces the damage doen with them, for you its just a bonus when you do hit with both and your main wep don't take any reductions when you have offhand wep. Doing axe or sword styles while left axe equipped isn't too good of an option...

only reason why zerkers hit so hard is cause of st00pid albs/hibs usin dex/quick debuff and attack speed debuff on them... but they dont care about using str/con debuff... then they whine when a zerker frenzy then hit em for 700-900 dmg(ofc this is possible to do without frenzy as we all know)...

think they should nerf celtic spear instead... im ashamed of saying that i got 2 shoted by one not so long ago

I do believe LA needed a little nerf, but they are over doing it.
I saw the log of a fight on pendragon.
First fight was on a live server, zerker vs healer, hitting for 260-270 mainhand with healer buffs.
The they copied their chars to pendragon , there the zerker was hitting for 150-170 with the same style and the same buffs.

After nerf; Infils 3 points, sbs 1 point, ns 1 point.

And you cant be serious if you think Mythic would start to act smart. I mean...this is the guys who came up with ideas like Shadowrun, Lifter and Mastery of Water...

And reguarding shadowzerkers versus mercitrators...you cant compare Axe 50/Left Axe 50 versus Thrust 50/Dual Wield 50. The true numbers are 44/44 versus 50/50 if both want Lifebane.

But see it as a challenge, not a problem

I grew so bored due to the fact that LA was the only way to go if u wanted maximum dmgoutput! Just had to sit there press 3 keys for the sumthing chain, sit, get end back, up and repeat. :bore:

nice when they combine it with not being able to root, mezz or stun thurg pets... nice mythic... shows where ur brains are located

oh... thane gets the recast timer of the bolt taken away... YAY!! now they are only 98% as gimped as they where be4.

minstrels can climb walls, use distractions, dangersense and safe fall like a freaking assasin... very funny mythic u assholes. and they get hp chant, longer insta stun duration.

sorcs AE mezz now has the same range of a fucking bolt(1875) very very nice of u mythic to do that...

the biggest prob that we got now is that after savages get nerfed we have no big damage dealers unless warriors get even more love. Atm armsman/hero>warrior and zerker/savage are our damage dealers in melee, but as people are just whining about it. They will be nerfed

And this is the main problem, DW/CD is known by all to be sub-par. Mercs and blademasters whine about how they can't compare to their realms main tanks. Guess what, you still can't. But because another light tank is brought closer to your useless level eh?

Alb: Mercs, Infils, imo infils can do enough dmg as it is
Hib:Rangers,BM's,NS

all these classes get there dmg put up, and what does mid get ? small con buff ? imo, this is unfair.

It is not the LA that makes Zerkers so overpowered. It is the timed End regen. And now they making it like a buff that kill the shamans conc, like they allready don't have enough problems while buffing. They change the End regen to be a chant that use conc.

A Zerk without end hit just as hard as any BM or merc that ONLY hit with their mainhand.

Think over it, only cause of LA sb's stand a chance against other assasins, and zerkers need end to kill......
