DF switching between realms to quckly

After a few days of DF, one thing I noticed is the mad rush for each of the realms to get down there.

Wonders if this will calm down a bit over the next few months..

perhaps we could even come to some agreement, like ALB has it for one day then HIB then MID etc... (rofl I know it wont ever happen, but it would be nice to have time to get to explore properly without the dreaded zerg coming.)

I agree. Bust a nut earlier trying to take keeps back with minimal forces because of the immenant dragon raid, only to get into DF and see you goddamn hibbie scum take keeps back.

Managed to earn 1/3 of my RP again though

The zerg applies to all realms - I've seen our merchants zerged several times now by the other realms (Course, we out zerged them, but hell)

I dislike people that go shopkeeper bashing, wish everyone would stop it

A "gentleman's agreement" about time-sharing DF??? Do me a favour guys !!! Where's your sense of adventure? The excitement of not knowing who might be waiting round the next corner to gank your sorry ass while you are trying to handle a baf of red/purple cons? One could probably have walked from one end of the dungeon to the other on the trail of enemy corpses 10 CE and 1 Aesirs (can that be considered a zerg???) left in our wake last night as we wandered between the realm portals. From our first ambush by Khalen's guys on Gorre (and the subsequent revenge kill) DF has been a blast. Please don't post any more threads trying to sterilise the place. (Waits patiently for the regular "Herbal Remedy exp-killer" flame). Just enter it with eyes wide open and be ready for any eventuality. If you want teddy bear exping stay at home.

I will say that the intensity with which each realm fights to gain access is in stark contrast to the apathy for "joint operations" we all experienced before. And if you are so concerned about the "keep musical chairs," defend them rather than joining the headlong rush for the portal once your realm have gained access. It's now guaranteed that whatever realm you are in there will be an enemy force regularly coming through an MFG near you to party with during peak hours. Make hay, (err...RP/Exp/Items/Whatever turns you on) the sun is shining !!!

Killing the merchants is a bit lame though.

Well we all know hurjulf moans and bitches about people camping df. Guess who I came across camping the DF entrence waiting for keeps to be taken .

When he asked me what I was doing there I said I had to log and do rl stuff he said lol??.

share DF are u nuts i made over 5k rp in there im a pally u know how good that is to me.
as for goin to each others merchants yeah it is lame but its fun
i done it yesterday with a grp, at the end of the day if u go to someone elses merchants your gonna die its just a question of when

as for taking keeps it is a sad affair when ppl just sit and camp DF portal instead of goin out to take keeps back to get back in.
soon as i died yesterday and we where locked out got an army together to retake our keeps and some extra,
as for defending the keeps dont think thats gonna happen for awhile theres new items to be got uber xp to earnt till we got a hell of alot of lvl 50s its just not gonna happen

i was gettin bored of this game DF has made it fun again hope it lasts.
