Desktop Speakers

Hello, well recently i moved from one house, to another. I brought my tower to my new house and plugged the speakers (they where already here) and it doesn't go half as loud as my other speakers at my other home. Is there any way to turn up the volume?

I've changed settings, gone into volume advanced settings and so on. btw they don't have a little knob to turn up the volume! Thanks in advance for the help

are the speakers non powered (i.e no power adapter/plug?)

If so that'd explain it

Nope, they're both plugged in etc

he means as in do they leech power from the pc or have their own adapter.ones that leech power from the tower tend to be quieter.
