Descaling

I need to descale my ... Thing that boils water. Forgot what it's called in english

I want to have some tea, so I'm in dire need of help here, how do I do it?

Thanks for giving me the word! Googled it now, and I can do it with vinegar, thanks for the tip though

yes vinegar can do it but be very careful, i read that the vinegar bubbles fast (like when the water is nearlly boiled) so the kettle will start pumping out vineger if you dont keep an eye on it.

Only have to fill it up halfway though, don't hope it will be bubbling up more than that. And will have to keep some windows open too.

I fill my kettle up with Britta filtered water. Has definitely made a massive difference in terms of mitigating limescale.

Buy a new kettle tbh - thats what I do

If the walls need cleaning, paint them, if the sandwich toaster, toaster, kettle need cleaning, buy new ones, if the washing up needs doing, eat out etc etc - never fails

i wouldnt heat vinegar up.

acetic acid vapour is not ftw. not at all.

Accidentally made a cup of tea out of descaler once, downed half of it before realising it wasn't water.
