Demos not playing in Rocket Arena 3

Hi, I recently downloaded and installed the modification "Rocket Arena 3" (version 1.5).

My problem is, I cannot seem to be able to play demos back after I've recorded them. Maybe this is because RA3 has no support for demos recorded under the point release I have, which is 1.31 ? The demos doesn't even show up in the demo list in RA3. I've tried copying the demos from the demo dir under the arena dir to the demo dir under baseq3, but they still wont show up.

Anyone had this problem solved ?

Download DemoShowCreator. Afaik it works with ra3 and is an excellent program imho..

OK, actually I just managed to play demos from within RA3 now. The problem was, the demos didn't show up in the demo file list from the menu, but they are availible via the "demo" command in the console.

If you didn't download it, I recommend DemoShowCreator anyway. It associates itself with q3demo file types, which allows you to double click demo files in windows explorer and they load straight up into the program. You can view the demos in a windowed or full screen mode and there are keys you can customise to allow you to pause, play, fast forward, etc. You can do these things in q3 if you know the right commands, but this program makes it very easy indeed. It also has loadsa other features well worth having.
Worth getting imho if you get a chance.
