looks great, good weapons, this is going to make a great Team based game. I wish they included Team DM in the Demo

Im glad they slowed the pace of the game down, but perhaps its a bit TO slow....Quake3 was like playing on rollerskates, this is like playing in concrete boots

oh and another thing, the sound is excellent, playing with headphones on allows you to hear every little ricochet and footstep, the sound is one of the best aspects of the game.

most definately! like in saving private ryan (which it's based around), you can hear the bullets swoosh past you, kinda freaky

This must be the third game I like! (Half-Life, OFP, this). One to buy methinks

bah I have to be connected to the net when I load the demo, otherwise It'll try an connect, send the game to the background, leaving me with a white mouse cursor, when I restore the game, and unable to look in any direction.

Having got that off me chest, I prefer halflife, the musical score is great, and is the atmosphere, but it seems more like op flashpoint than quake3. I ran it on a 850 Duron, 128MB ram, GF2 mx . but I think it got too much in the thick of the action.

ugh. mixed opinions from my point of view.

for starters. doesnt play well at all on low spec pc like mine:
p3 450 with 128ram and 16mb tnt1

jumping and crouching arent smooth at all

the maps (well the one on the demo anyway) is really quite crap. realistic. but crap. just a big house with a load of windows and stupid toads with rocket launchers.

Also. It suffers from that "doesnt feel like your shooting" problem

But on the good side:

i had a 300 ping but still felt quite fast.

nice pace of game. similar to cs.

recoil is realisticly done

and they give us 5 grenades.. wooohoo!
