does somebody know the answer to this please.

if an angry ex gf deleted my chars, would there be any chance of getting account back?

2. RightNow the problem. If the charslots are still empty (i.e. haven´t been used since deleting the old char) and the char has been deleted since last patch, GoA can get them back.. with 0 money and equipment, but still, they´re back).

I was under the impression they came back with your equipment as long as a vengeful GF or friend didnt run around dropping or destroying your arties/stuff before deleting them.

When we restore characters we restore them to the same state that they were in when they were deleted so they'll have all the money, items etc that they had when deleted. If your girlfriend gave away all your gear before deleting then it's gone. if she didn't it's still there as part of the character record.

We can usually restore characters if not too much time has passed since they were deleted. We can also restore them if the slots or the names have been reused. Restoring is not guaranteed however. If there has been a patch since the characters were deleted then they may have become corrupted as a result. Also if they were deleted too long ago, then backups may no longer exist. Where it is possible to restore a character we will do so.

Oh ok, my fault then. I remember a couple of threads about this from WAY back in time and iirc, they said something about bringing them back "naked" ro avoid duping or other scam. Seems that my memory failed me then.

when you break up with GF always change all your passwords

so like, if my goldfish jumped out the bowl, logged into my acct, changed the password, sold my gear and then deleted the char. jumped back in the bowel and got eaten by the cat who made a char over the deleted slot. will i not get it back?
