Im getting a delayed write failed error with my MAXTOR 6L060J3 60 Gb ata 133 drive. It took it out of my old machine to put in my newly built one. And have had probs since I put it in. Its fat32 where my other drive is NTFS. Dont know if that matters under windows xp. But cant change anyway partition magic woulnt open in windows because error 100 bad partition table. This drive worked fine in old machine so dont know whats wrong. But I cant really write anything to this drive til I get it fixed might have to get what I need off it and reformat but was wondering if anyone here could be of some help.

Thanks

Using the powermax utility is most probably your best bet, be warned that one of the tests you can do does a low level format, destroys all your data. Before using any of the tests in this utility read the information on the download page and make sure you back up important information.
