When a CT is in the process of defusal without using a kit, how can he shoot someone then return to his defusing from the position the defuse indicator had progressed along the bar prior to him getting out his M4 and shooting someone. Surely when he stops his defusing to get his gun out the defuse indicator should have reset as it does with everybody else. I suspect this is done by the individual to gain advantage over everybody else in the game, seems pretty lame.

If you have a weapon while defusing you can use that weapon while continuing to defuse. If you reload or change weapon defusing stops and resets.

I always defuse with a clear line of sight to where the enemy are likely to appear from, this way i can return fire and continue to deuse. You cant do what you described though.

i killed 4 t's while diffusing on dust the other day, with 1 bullet left in the clip, although the stupid tits planted the bomb and ran off somewhere :/

I think stats can really ruin the quality of games on the publics, you get some l33t clan chimp owning a bunch of newbs to get his frags up .

And probably more people using aim bots to get higher scores to .

it also improves players ability me thinks, when they where around i was always checking where i was in the table, i had that fire in meh heart to compete and do the best ive ever played.

It also made me wary of killing Hostages like i used to do... :uhoh: and been careful when throwin HE Grenades on FF Servers

maybe u can change weapon during defusal by using the Last Weapon Switch key.

» Changed so players must stand still when planting the bomb (including no jumping)

It's going to be really hard for a single CT to defuse safely now.

im guessing it might actually make defusing and bomb planting least used, and turn CS more into a "team deathmatch" game.

hopefully 1.4 will get rid of a lot of those useless whinging cunts who play currently, and bitch when you shoot them in the back because you were sneaking about...
