To all Mids that voted me raid leader tonight. We did very well pushing them back but it all failed when it came to the ram.

I spent 3 hours today getting bits with my high level char and even built a test one in Gna to work it out. For the test one (an Elm ram I neeeded 300 wood) so I bought 300 Oak and got peops to carry the necessary bits.

They were given to me and I was encumbered badly. Then the game told me I was 300 wood short and after checking all the FAQ's this is not supposed to be the case. I cant explain it but hey next time we are taking plenty of wood.

Sorry for misplaced faith next time we will get it right.

P.S. As for the Alb defence you guys did a really good job, I now have a few more on my hit list.

Albs, was fun to log in up at the lord, notice albs taken the keep, run down out on the rampart killing some blue caster, then jump over the walls, and down into the river alive, but gets raped by three or four albs...

You bought Oak wood for an Elm ram?

Elm ram = Elm wood

Probably not what you meant, but that's what I read...

Yeah not what I meant the necessary parts i.e. Beak, Cladding etc are universal what makes the difference is the wood you use.

Elm builds a good test ram, Oak make the regular ram and Ironwood is used for a siege ram.

But you did use the right siege weapon craft icon? The only reason I can think it would say you have no wood is if you were trying to build another ram than the one you meant to. At least, in this patch version that is true. Previously there was some issues regarding that.

yep, it'd be a crafting issue, if you tried to build a siege ram for instance, yet used elm wood you'd be the 300 ironwood short that is needed in the siege ram recipie, just as if you tried to make a small ram with ironwood, you'd be the 300 elm wood shot that is listed in the small ram recipie

should have used the normal ram icon for oak wood i think

but really, there's no point using anything other than siege rams, cost a little more but you can't beat that "you hit the thidranki gate door for 780 damage!" message every 5 seconds
