What's a cheap rental for a dedicated server so you can host games nowadays?

I'm tempted to run up a valheim server.

How much compared to other stuff like Multiplay?

I dislike Amazon as a rule and would probably go with another provider. And Valheim is probably 'doze, so Azure...?

Probably but my friend who does our servers does it all in AWS so no idea about Azure.

What sort of requirements? I find Contabo VPSs are cheap as chips and perform well.

Spoiler, though: a lot of these service providers will probably be using AWS behind the scenes.

I'm playing on a Valheim server that's hosted through Google, apparently you can get £600 worth of hosting for free if you sign up.
