Ok. Around Christmas time I'm planning to upgrade a load of parts on my one computer. This was what I was planning to get:

Processor: AMD XP2500+ Barton Retail Boxed 512kb Inc Heatsink & Fan with 3 year warranty - £70.90
RAM: 1024MB DDR333 PC2700 Extra Value RAM - £114.87
Motherboard: S478 Intel 865G ATX A V L - £78.00

The question was, whether I should get a new graphics card. Atm I've got a GeForce 4 4200 Ti. I was planning to upgrade to a Hercules 3D Prophet 9800 AGP 8x 128MB Retail Box, but that would come in at a hefty £225.30. I could flash this up to a Pro though.

One thing I'll want to do on this computer is run two accounts of SI at one time (although I'll probably do it on two different computers if I'm not in SI land). Will my current graphics card handle it? If no, is there a cheaper alternative that will last me a while (say, the upgrade that'll most likely come after ToA)?

Thanks in advance.

Yes your current GFX card is good enough imo. You just need to just research more into your motherboard as you need to find one thats compatible with all the items you have or going to buy.

I'd recommend thinking about the value Ram. Ram problems are really niggly, and I've never regretted getting decent branded stuff. You may be ok, but modern motherboards can be quite awkward with cheap Ram.

All my prices are from ebuyer. And it's not 50p difference anymore :p

I don't really want/need to overclock 1024MB of RAM anyway, so is it worth spending £30 extra for it?

Thanks for the recommendation on the motherboard though.
