I know this is off the subject of tribes, and I don't want this to turn into a techy discussion , but I'm willing myself to buy a 64mb Geoforce 2 card and was wondering if anyone had one and if so what is their experiences with the card.
The difference between the 32mb and 64mb is considerable, so is it worth going for the 64?
The guillemont card looks nice at the moment, but any advice is welcome. Looking over the hardware sites (tom's, thehardwareshop etc they seem to come up with different opinions), so that's why I'm looking for a first hand opinion from a gamer.
I'm not just after it for Tribes so I'm aware of the glide/3dfx issues...

So far the Best (and i mean that literally) GTS2 card out is the gainward 64Mb version. what gainward have done is added 64mb's of 5ns DDR memory, as opposed to the standard 6ns. this gives their card extra memory bandwidth, which is where all the performance on the GTS2 is lost, and therefore translates into pure FPS gain. Also they have provided the ability to overclock their car giving ven more speed.
You may also consider an ATI raedon although slower on low resoulutions its normally faster with all the nift tricks like FSAA and 32bit..... anyway dont take my word on it look at www.tomshardware.com

Well I went out and bought the Hercules 64 mb one... PCWorld actually was cheaper than buying it online, (£2 cheaper, but every penny counts).

All I can say is: if you don't have one - buy one. If you can't afford one - steal one...
