Decisions...decisions

Necro exp going nicely towards 50 , so its time to decide on a main char.
Narrowed it down to 2 categories , 4 choices.

Shar Ranger 40 bow , 34 pierce , 36 stealth , 36pf , 21cd.

Norse Hunter 45 bow , 39 Spear , 35 Stealth , 32 Bc

Luri Champ 44 Pierce , 42 Shield , 42 Valor , 18 Parry

Saracen Reaver 50 Flex , 42 Shield , 36 Sr , 16 Parry

Which would be most fun to play and able to cope with most situations?
Luri champ looks uber fun if plvl'd up a bit to smooth out initial stat losses.
Interupts vs Casters is essential hence no thought of Warrior / Merc , will be unbuffed while PvP'ing , can use for Necro PvE.

reavers are very good but dont bother with parry put the rest in soul reaving

Reavers will own everything until 1.71. Then they are just 'ok', since people actually can see TWF and run away from it. And its not stackable anymore.

If you dont have any friends, make a Shar Ranger.

If you do, I'd make a Celt/Shar Champion, 50 LW, 50 Valor, 28 Parry. Champions will destroy stuff in NF. They already do, just that people prefer fast-hitting dual-wielding det tanks

Reaver should easily kill any assasin even at low level (mine can at 26) and the side style with proc is kinda nasty

If you're going to make a Champ, do it right...

Elf Champ and have 42 Sheild 39 Blunt 50 Valor 6 Parry

And if you're going for a Reaver make is a Briton Reaver, and like Bahumat said, dont bother with parry, go 42 Sheild 50 Flex Rest Soul Rending

But out of those two, do champ if u have friends to grp with, go reaver if u plan to solo alot.

The LT will let you last that little bit longer.

Assasins arent a problem full stop. Engage... block... use the when you blok flex style, go do side style, by this time they are on 1/3rd hp and beggin for a quick death.

And even if caster does get 1st hit... u face, use dot, then run towards them, by this time they are QCing, as the QC u LT them and u made ur lfie bak on the spell they about to cast on u in QC, if they turn and run then u get them with ur ranged behind style, no runnin from a reaver

Just make sure at a low lvl u go full flex, a good amount in sheild and not so much in SR.

reaver, its the least gimped spec of them.

and those telling him to put points into SR - take a look at reaver spell lists and look how many spells he gains going 36 - 39 SR.

Choose whatever you would enjoy the most, one of the good things about camlann is u dont have to be fotm to win, just have some skill at playing the game... but my choice would be a luwi champ as theyre so damn cute

If you get a necro to plvl your char, imo you will level a reaver with autotrain.

50 flex, 42 shield, 41 Soulrending, 6 Parry (41 soulrending = Lifetap 106 D 80% life back ) rly nice


Btw, about the Elf champ, blunt spec ..... dont do that, if you make elf champ make it trust spec, because blunt works with str, and being elf u'll block nice but hit like a gurl, just my opinion.


If you go for a ranger, do same as reaver, autotrain it and make 50 bow, 33 stealth, 39 piercing, 21 CD, 20 PF or 50 bow, 33 stealth 34 piercing, 29 PF 19 CD.

Except its the other way around.

You debuff ur opponent to piss, they cant hit ya, cos of their crap WS and u stand there and just pummel them to death
Plus with the amount u will block u can get the 4 move block chain in blunt off over... and over... and over... and over...

No weapon skill...

Champs dont do well with Aniahlation as they dont spec nowt into blades/blunt.

I got a 50 Hero on rvr and i hit for like 100 more than a champ.

Plus, u get behind someone when you are in a 1vs1 situation with 50 LW 50 Valor...

My Hero does but cos I got brutalize.

Snare is movement speed, not turning speed you prat

There is nothing oyu can do not even str debuff to encumber them will slow down how fast he face you.

Fact of the matter is this, you need a from style stun to get to side/behind unless you plan on being a cheating bug abusing arsehole. That or come across someone running away, in a fight or afk, any othertime they will /face or /stick.
