How do you decide whether you should up sticks and move for a better job or to stay put and look for stuff close to where you live? :(

I'd be moving closer to my family (would living with the rents to start with) but away from my friends (although having said that where I live now is my university town so I imagine they'd be moving away soon aswell). It's more my work colleaques from both my jobs that i'll miss imensely.

weigh up the pros and cons; go with your gut feeling. whatever you do you are going to have doubts and things, just because you decide to move away does not mean you can't go back if it does not work out. Try it and see, good luck :D

Well the jobs pretty much mine just need to make my mind up by Wednsday I volunteer where am at the minute and I spoke to my supervisors and they said they have transfer agreements with where my parents live so I can keep that I guess.

I suppose the biggest problem is i have always been independant and I don't really want to move back with the rents. It'd be great for my mum as my oldest brother is getting married and moving out and my other brother has already left. With my sister going to uni soon, she'll need someone other than my dad in the house lol!

I've got good history and bad history where I am now, maybe moving away will do me good. Put the past behind me look to the future and all that. Kind of feel like i'm in a rut anyway.

So I applied, interview on Friday. Made enquires about transfering my other job, slightly more difficult than at first expected but certainly do-able. Now if I get it (pretty good chance tbh) i've just got to pysch myself up to say goodbye to the folks who have pretty much been my family for the past 5 years! :(

Don't worry. If they're really worth it you'll stay in touch. Just requires effort from both sides :)
