Anyone know of a decent Mic. for gaming?

I'm thinking of hosting a roger wilco base station or summat like that for the majority of my online capers - but want a decent microphone to pick up my dulcet tones....

Cheap is good too - but not cheap and shit.

Most cheap free-standing microphones I've tried have had very good sound quality. I think I use a Creative one at the moment, cost about £5.

Headsets tend to suck. I'd avoid them.

Easy? Check. Low Bandwidth? Check (though the lower settings sound a bit robotic). Stable? Only tried a Base Station on FreeBSD, Windows client is stable too.

A few people have mentioned Ventrillo, never tried it, but I've never had any problems with Teamspeak.

I'm using a flimsy free wire one from some S Club 7 CD ROM thing. I sound fine.
