Aplogies for gettin ya ganked by guards at the aug pool m8.....you turned up, saw a group of low-lvl greys and simply let us be, our champ was a muppet and appologies for him tryin to hit yas......perhaps you could teach the value of etiquette to Insta.

Yup. Lesson be learned there. If you're a grey and have been ignored then don't go nibbling at your enemy, it's vaguely annoying

People will always kill greys, it simply a risk when frontiering.
Personally, I don't mind getting trampled, it's just sad it happens so fast.

I met Zob and Dinga today with my scout. They decided I looked way to good for my 18 levels (I just painted my armor red, don't see the bloodstains on it that much now) and that holding a longbow was against all rules
Was hoping they would mezz or stun me or whatever, wave and then kill me but Zob had to swing his big weapon around ... damn, now I STILL didn't see Hibernian tank armor up close

But I'm rambling on, point is that IF you decide to xp in the frontier, get used to getting killed. You will undoubtedly meet some nice peeps that wave / bow / whatever and thats really nice but you will also get killed by many others who don't give a darn about any of the 'unwritten laws of etiquette' as people tend to call them. Just accept it and have fun with the people that do follow them.

hehe a few days back a 23 scout was in emain an sb was trying to be nice, but he kept shooting him (for 5 dmg he later told me) and i guess he thought the poor guy was wasting expensive arrows so cut him in half

Reasons

Minor point about killing in the frontiers - if ya dont like it dont leave your realm.
Also high levels sometimes gank a few greys here and there if theres nobody worth decent realm points about to kill to bring the big boys out to play - although some muppets just do it 'cause they get a power rush out of killing something helpless against them No names mentioned....
Believe me everytime i kill a grey in upplands i get half a dozen mids coming out to play who are 45-50 sorta levels
At the end of the day informal CoC (no jokes) or not it's a game - play it and have fun
<Sighs> Why cant every mid be a kobold mage? I love em - two shots (even for 50s - and obviously excluding the bladeturn shot) and they're down usually. Bring me mages! Oodles and Oodles of mages!
