If its banned it'll be a round ban for too much tking

If its a kick, more than likly you tried to join the two reserved slots, which kicks you to keep the spot free.

I've given up trying to connect, also says i've been kicked banned etc. I think its because the server keeps two slots open 62/64 and if one tries to connect its says your kicked/banned.

What , the idea that its a 64 man server, but only has 62 slots? So someone sees a server with 2 slots free, connects, then gets kicked and banned for no reason? Thats good is it?

Apart from the banned bit which is wrong, yes it's good. Very good.

It's a general message, in fact you've only been auto kicked.....to join you have to try when it says 61/64 which means 2 reserved slots plus 1 normal are available.

until Punkbuster kicks are working again its the kcik that has to be used.

Once PB kicks are back I can set a message like "You have tried to join a reserved slot, you are not a registered user thus have been disconnected"

Anyway the second server should be online tomorrow so more slots too fill

That is a fairly small point, reality is that that is the way it has to stay until EA/DICE bother to offer proper support for reserved slots etc.

It is a 64 man server, but the people paying for it are guaranteed a place, I don't see anything wrong with that at all. The server is often at 64/64

The only issue is that there's currently no way to show that there are 2 reserved slots due to Dice not having a clue when it comes to todays server requirements

In this day & age, full admin gui's, reserved slots etc should come as standard
