DAoC has passed on! The game is no more! It has ceased to be! DAoC has expired and gone to meet 'is maker! It's a stiff! Bereft of life, It rests in peace! 'Is metabolic processes are now 'istory! 'It's off the twig! It's kicked the bucket, shuffled off 'it's mortal coil, run down the curtain and joined the bleedin' choir invisibile!! THIS IS AN EX-GAME!!

I think this sums the state of Dark age quite accuratly.

To be fair for a lot of people dyvet or the original server they played on was/is the game, the attachment to there charecters and the long gone feeling of realm pride was the game when it died so did the game for a lot of people.
