Ok, if you are having problems connecting to de_vegas servers, and you are using the counterstrike mod upgrade, then please download this file:
ftp://ftp.barrysworld.com/halflife/mods/counterstrike/v1.1/windows/up_vegas.zip
If you have installed the full version, or the retail version and you cannot connect to a de_vegas server, look for another gaming network running de_vegas and try connecting, chances are the gaming network has a messed up de_vegas (Barrysworld servers have got a proper de_vegas).
