Tbh i'm a little pissed off that there have been no polls of subscribers to see what we want, only liasons doing as they like and ignoring us, that and not talking to us about the changes taking place.

Anyone else feel the same?

Nope. Though there has been demand for a de_simpsons server, I'm pretty sure it was mentioned a while ago.

Calm down ECA, if you payed attention you would know that de_simpsons was put on simply as a test, so that we could playw tih settings and maps and see how they work. It's not staying that way.

fy maps server is back on BWCS#2, thats one of the new servers not the old pro maps one.

Rotations will be sorted in the next couple of days.

I still wish you'd ask us instead of deciding yourselves, we do PAY for this service tbh, you dont.

You get it for free for being an admin, kudos if you actually payed on top.

Just put up some polls, ask the community what it wants.

Ok, I think I can relate this to how my clan used to run, and how it runs now.

We used to be a democracy. Every change was run by all the members before it would be implemented. As a result, it took a long long time to get anything done, about a week for the most minor of things.

Nowadays, we let the old hands make changes, and then comment afterwards. They often ask the other members for advice, and the members are more than happy to provide very vocal feedback. Everything now runs far faster and smoother.

Well people have been in favour of a Custom Maps Server, would you prefer they sent us emails everyday notifying everyone on whats happening?

From what ive seen, people only use the PRO Maps during the Day/Night, so im all for them testing the other servers as long as there is still servers with preferred maps

Actually I quite like the de_simpsons server, so (and i'm being mild here) shove your attitude up ya backside cos you ain't the only CS player. Just because you now p2p doesn't suddenly make you the center of the universe, everything CS related revolving around you.


Anyway on a more constructive note:

1. New server numbering is naff imho
2. Is it possible to remove the BarryServers/BW.com can't see us visit the site/(& personally i'd also suggest league) servers out of the Game Launcher or reverse the sort order so BarrysWorld is above BarryServer, cos its pants to get to the actual bw servers otherwise.
3. I'd suggest that this de_simpsons server if its to be a custom maps jobbie, isn't on the same box as the fy_ server, as I was on there with just 2 others last night (/me waves to stonedcrew) and it was lagging like a bugger.[/list=1]

I must confess I am very nearly sick to death of Dust,Dust2,Inferno,cobble over and over again. But I go where everyone is, and that seems to be the server. I want to play Italy, and the others on the "popular" maps server.
To be honest, and I know I wont get much support here, I want to play the full map cycle. I really miss Oil Rig ... I even miss Vegas (a bit) .

Okay calm ECA again! It was simply us testing the new system to see how it works, its not a permanent thing. Some poeple do actually want de_simpsons.

The names of the new servers are fully customisable bar the Barrysworld bit at the start. Hence : BarrysWorld - Pro Maps, mr12 213.221.174.6:27015

That was the simpons server, I made it pro maps due to people asking for a pro maps server. Scoring is at max rounds currently, it can be changed back to normal within a minute if it proves unpopular.

Before everyone starts screaming for blood remember that we are still trying to get used to the new system.

Assault, Militia, Prodigy, Cbble, Train, Inferno for the past 2/3weeks, so im bored.

We should play on different Maps, would be nice for a change.

Ive not seen any maps on other than those abovem but i wont play Italy because i find it boring now, Oilrig is a map i want to get back into, that rocked, and now with only us lot who are decent, it would make the game a helluva lot more interesting

The new servers are running afaik on 3 dual cpu boxes, so in essence its one CS server per CPU. No other games or mods are running with them. Playing on them earlier with 4 players was fine, no lag at all. I suppose tonight will tell if they hold up to more players.

The other 4 new servers are currently running a full rotation as no one has customised them yet.

the servers have only been on for one day, its doubtfull you played on the new ones, some of the old servers are still running.

Well if it was on the new ones, then they need some tweaking. If it wasn't on the new ones, then the old boxes clearly aren't used to taking the custom stuff?

i did feel the same m8,but after talking to ch3tan he showed me the error of my ways.just stay calm the servers will soon be to everyones satisfaction.

Like other's i feel the need 2 play other maps like Italy, Paintball maps, Museum etc.....

Pro server setup same as league 1's sounds good would also like to see a Full Rotation and a Custom Maps servers proberbly the only 3 servers u need right now then peeps can vote what everyone wants 2 play, not played on the new servers yet unless simpsons was running on 1

Why does everyone stop playing at like 9 even on the weekends surely not all BW subscribers are still at school...........

As for the changes i dont think everything can be 'voted on' so 2 speak as Itcheh said things would never happen, do first comment after then ammend if necessary. How about running a couple of poll threads 2 decide custom maps etc.. then peeps can have there say.

fyi isuck, we p2p not p2own BW makes the decisions at the end of the day if we like it or not thats just life

9 Oclock ? Last night was a nightmare mate, I couldnt find anyone on a BW server at all I was on Jolt and BY servers , coming off every ten minutes in disgust to check for people on BW. It was ver sad tbh .
Yeah I know it was saturday night, maybe people had gone out etc, but I hadnt ! Me and my beer was lonely !!!
