but being as every enemy pretty much cons red to my Alt then i wasent to botherd, but that dosent change the fact Mr Troll ownd our arses

and just 2 mins before that some Alb was yelling ALBS RULE

hmm, and what excatly do we rule????

The Troll killed em all, 2 Albs attack, 1 stood and watched mates die, then attacks and dies, then another alb comes over and dies

(even a NS Luri popd to kill him, and died)
then an Alb Inf had a go, and died

And Mr Troll gave a big round of laughing, and the SB around the area bangd on his/her shield

I think it is not even possible..
1) 2 albs can easily kill a zerker ( one tank, one healer )
2) The Luri or Inf should have easily PAed him or BSed him which would have taken him down.

Or the whole group were casters with no pow, or tanks without end, or maybe even AFK.. and the berzerker must defenitly have had buffs!

Seen my mate take down four hibs as his zerker (one of them was mezzed). He had half health after it. Not entirely sure of the classes but one could defintely mezz. One was a NS and one was a Hero. The hero lasted all of about 4 seconds. One of the best things I've ever seen in bgs, though would've been better if my skald hadn't been face down. All I managed to do was get a stun off on one of their casters before being nuked.

During the time i've been playing this game, i've heard lots of wierd stories about similar things happening. Perhaps this mid, dunno if it was a zerk, had a healer standing close but hiding behind a tree. Who knows since we dont have the whole story.

And if they had the lag i had last nite, and the mid did't i see no problem here. I had 30 sec delay on everythin i did before my connection was closed due to server error. And when i had this lag, was during one of the mid charges from ab to apk, i killed two albs, but didt see me hit, the i ran to ck to log. And when i swam in the water i started to hit theese albs. And then i got up to the ck, and typed quit. But got the message Master Wizard hit you for XXX damage, you have died, you dont loose any xp since it was a death in rvr bla bla bla bla bla. Then the connection was closed, and i decided not to log in since i had work in 4 hours.

they was healing themselves (can Zerkers heal?, i have no idea on mid char capibilitys)

And there were no casters dead at his feet, they were palas, scouts and infs, and a Luri

Only troll class that can selfheal, is Shaman's well he might have FA1, but did you see what armor he had, chain or studded? Studded would point at a zerk, chain at shaman, warrior, skald.
Did he use 1h or 2h, round shield or square shield. Gife us info dammit.

Most likely he had a healer hidden somewhere.

i think i was one of the dead and would like to clear this up,there was originally about 3 or 4 mids and about 3 albs,the mids had a healer and ended up killing the albs,then the luri popped up and killed the healer(who released) and i think a mid chased him leaving one mid,who might of killed ONE alb on his own after that.

Ahh i misread the first post, thought it was a mid troll saying he'd done that not that it was one of the killed people. Pallys can take a hell of a lot of damage, and he said "Pallys", indicating more than one. It is defo not the work of 1 troll.

Same point still applies though, why lie?

was all in black, round shield as far as i can remember

And he didnt fight all Albs at same time, we kept going upto him on our own (not best of moves for my lvl 20.........)

But maby there was a healer hidden, all I know is 1 Troll was haveing himself a good chuckle at a bunch of dead Albs

ahhh well, all in the name of Fun

I'll try get to Thid with my alt some time soon, and Bitch slap all you happy Hoe Mids back to ya snow fields

dat DOT is nasty....

Shaman AE DoT with 24 cave magic hits for 55dmg/4 ticks on most enemies in Thidranki. It is possible that if alot of enemies are at low hp, one AE dot from a shammy could kill them all. I have done something similar with my cave shammy on Excalibur, although if anyone melees me, I am dead meat :/

U sure? My cabbies lvl 24 Aoe DOT i usually get 57-60/4 ticks enuff to certainly impact a mob but wipe them all out?
They all would of have to be about half health in the first place.

Nah - it's not common.

My matter cabby DoT does 50-57 depending on opponent. I get it off quite often and it does a lot of damage but I don't get much death spam - usually other people finish them off. Best I had was 6 deaths in a row, but they were prob already damaged or casters.

BTW, I thought that specced DoTs ticked 6 times and base dots 4 times. Is it only the single target dot that ticks 6 or does the aoe also - I turned my spell reports off as the spam is terrible

he mashed the DOT spell alot....the albs legged it half died and the zerg washed over em...

same for the hibs....
that was back when noone knew what the hell a cave spec shammy was now look at em all.....

cave damage went up last patch. 23 does 70 ish per tick to 140 at lvl 50. New poisons generally tick faster than before also.

so at level 23 cave a cave shammy can do

70x6=420 points

-- From the above u can clearly see that cabalist ae dot is the *most* powerful dot at bg1 lvl.

Lets assume that all ae dots do about ~55 dmg, this means after 6 ticks (which is how long they last) they do about ~330dmg, 330 dmg is probably enuff to kill some casters, but its not enuff to kill any tank since a tank will have ~600+ hp. Since only mentalist and cabalist can stack their dots, only they can do near 500+ dmg.

A couple of days ago on hib exc, I saw one mentalists name (weird I think) come up 6 times in about 5 seconds thanks to a well placed aoedot. Cave shaman could be a possibility if the tanks were already wounded. My light enchanter and a druid together took out 6 albs in one go the other day, although mainly due to alb incompetence than our skills I think they thought some invisible middie was nuking them and doting them from the pk they were camping and took a while to turn round at which point with 4:2 odds, they ran away Anything is possible in rvr so I wouldn't rule out one troll killing so many people, however unlikely, although it's more likely they had a healer hidden in a tree or something

without spells sounds a little imaginative to me.

but a berserker is quite capable of taking down more than 2 opponents single handedly.

the 3 hit LA chain is very high level for thid (by that i mean its really effective with the last 3rd hit gained near the 24th level).

my own dwarf berserker killed 2 infiltrators and a cabalist on MB and survived with a whisker of a HP.

and he had a few duels with armsmen and won with over 70% witout rage, 80 or 90% if he went zerker rage. i was twinked mind you. but most are.
