well, CET is GMT+2 i belive
but dont forget uk go into british summer time, during the summer, ofc. meening we are GMT+1 during the summer and GMT+0 during the winter, please note that UK time is NOT equal to GMT, for half the year it is:p

afaik england is the only place in the world that does this

i probably confuced everyone, but its really not that hard, just beginers maths:p

another thing, you can find out what time it is all above the world by looking at a time zone chart then simply adding or subtracting the required ammount, tbh this is more like algabra, either way its rather logical

one last thing, it probbly was a waste of time doing this as it will confuce everyone, as the famous saying goes, give a man a fish and his fed for a day, give him a fishing net/rod and his fed for life, i would like to feel like i gave you the fishing rod/net:)

First i signed on pryd/alb forum, didn't know that you will move the topic here.
I'd still like to sign with Butcher my PvE specced rr6 paladin (50+16+mob5) shield, very great to tank mobs, if you have other pala, then i can also bring rejuv cleric with fop.

And my guild mate also like to come with an rr6 icewizard, or rr7 merc.
His Wizard name is Nevem. his merc name is Lujo.

Actually CET=UK time+1

That means that in the
winter then CET = GMT+1
summer then CET = GMT+2, because in the summer uk-time= BST = gmt+1. (i know there is the definition of CEST, but that is not actually used anywhere, because CET has summer/wintertime build in the definition)

Most countries in the world does that summer/winter time thing, only UK is the only country foolish enough to have different names for the 2 different times. It would be much easier if the GMT-timezone was called BT (British time or something else), like CET (Central European Time), and then still keep the GMT as the FIXED time it is (no adjustment for summer/winter time).

For most ppl GMT is of no concern.
Translation table:
Winter time (end of october to end of march)
When your watch is 12 in the UK then its 13 in central europe

Summer time (end of march to end of october)
When your watch is 12 in the uk then its 13 in central europe

If you work in a business who actually use gmt for something (airlines, seaways, military ect.) then
Translation table:
Winter time (end of october to end of march)
12 GMT = 12 british time = 13 in central europe

Summer time (end of march to end of october)
12 GMT = 13 british time = 14 in central europe
