T-shirts. Mousepads. Notebooks. USB Drives. Bibs... If you can put a logo on it, our new Zazzle store probably has it with newly minted Knot and Realm logos to boot! We're in the process of adding more items to the store too, so if you don't see what you want now, check back in a few days!

If you still don't see something you want, feel free to send us your best DAoC swag ideas via the feedback form and we'll try our best to accommodate your request!

Browse the store HERE and note that all items ship internationally!

III. 1.118 Patch Update

We plan on having 1.118 go to our Pendragon test server in just the next 2 weeks!

As mentioned in previous newsletters, there are lots of exciting features coming:
  • A brand new Campaign is about to start!
  • Classic world dungeon revamps!
  • New Frontiers Pathing Fixes!
  • Casual Group Finder adjustments!
Stay tuned for more details and updates on the Camelot Herald as we get closer to the patch's release!

IV. Player Accolades and Remembrances

Dark Age of Camelot is a great game for many reasons but our favorite reason is you: our community! Without you all we wouldn't have a game to enjoy, especially one that's lasted 13 and a half years and is still going strong.

With that, we'd like to take the time in this and each subsequent newsletter to congratulate any players who have been married or had a child recently and remember those who are sadly no longer with us.

Accolades
  • Shinyy and his wife would like to welcome their new baby girl, Andriana, to the world. She was born on May 3rd at 8:25 AM EST!
Best Wishes
  • At the behest of Fugo, we would like to wish Serima, a veteran Albion player, the best of luck and a full recovery in his fight against laryngeal cancer.
If you would like to give congrats, well wishes, or remembrances to anyone please contact our Community Lead, Carol (Beibhinn), on the Postcount forums.
V. Knight Application Updates

As promised, we launched our Knight Program and Internal Forums application in the last newsletter. The response has been overwhelming! It's been very hard choosing among the many excellent applications.

As stated, we're looking to grow our number from the current 11 to 20 Knights. We aren't ready to fill all of the slots with this newsletter announcement but we do have 4 new Knights we'd like to welcome as well as offer a brief outline of their main responsibilities in the program:

Tald - New player guides and events
Aendam - Podcasting, creating video guides, and streaming
Cyrric - Streaming, events, and testing
Kujii - Streaming RvR and organizing RvR events

Congratulations to you all!

If you haven't filled out the application yet, what are you waiting for!?

We'll also be taking several internal forum members in the coming weeks so fear not if you aren't picked as a Knight, there will still be other opportunities to help us improve the game!

VI. Almost to 1k Followers!

Both our Twitch Channel and this very newsletter are nearing 1000 followers each! In celebration we'll be doing a random lottery drawing from each member list. You just have to be subscribed to this newsletter and/or following the twitch channel in order for a chance to win!

3 unique, lucky winners will be chosen from each list, to be announced in the next newsletter.

Newsletter subscriber lottery rewards:
1st prize - 30 day game time code and 1 free DAoC item (up to $30 in value)
2nd prize - 1 free DAoC item (up to $30 in value)
3rd prize - 1 free DAoC item (up to $15 in value)

Twitch follower lottery rewards:
1st prize - 30 day game time code and 1 free DAoC item (up to $30 in value)
2nd prize - 1 free DAoC item (up to $30 in value)
3rd prize - 1 free DAoC item (up to $15 in value)

All DAoC items are to be chosen from the new Zazzle store!

VII. What's Coming

Midsummer's Inaugural Event
Summer time has always been a blast in Dark Age of Camelot but this year we're excited to be adding a new Midsummer Event to the mix! A new event will of course mean new rewards; but these won't be earned by just completing a PvE quest, you'll have to get your hands dirty in RvR!
5v5 Tournament
We're still working with the Knights to iron out the rules, prizes, and timeline for the free-for-all 5v5 tournament on Pendragon. Our tentative goal is to have it in late June or early July to allow everyone enough time to prepare. More information to follow so keep your eyes here and on the Camelot Herald!

User Interface
Work on integrating BobsUI continues. We're busy normalizing the look and layout of its windows and picking the 'default' state of the UI. You can expect to see the first batch of changes this summer!

New Account Center
We spoke last newsletter about the new Account Center coming: it's completely revamped from the ground up in look, user-flow, and features. That said, we want to launch this as smoothly as possible and so we've decided to take a few extra months to test it. We expect to roll it out this next fall and are excited to make returning to the game easier than ever.

Camelot Herald
Details on the Herald revamp and re-skin are being worked out as you read this. We're still aiming to have the new site up and running by the end of the year!
Please forward this to your DAOC curious friends and help get them into the game!
