I would like to try windowed daoc. Anyone got a link to the program doax? Or could mayby send it to me via ICQ? I hate getting LD cause I´ve forgotten to turn of some stoopid program in Windows.

DAoX is classified as a third party programme and therefore contravenes the DAoC Code of Conduct.

TECHNICALLY is against the rules, and you can get banned for using it.

IN REALITY most players use it for the windowed mode.

So if you want to get hold of a 3rd party programme try surfing the web to find one or ask a m8 ingame.......dont go posting it on webboards

Personally i still have yet to hear of one person who has been banned for using it, i very much doubt anyone ever will.

I dont use it personally, but then again i dont play nemore

I think mythic should have made it possible to go into DAOC again if a window function forces you out to window. U don´t wanna go LD in a big fight when others are depening on you. I don´t frankly care shit if they and some BW users consider DAOX for a cheat program. I am sooooo tired of getting LD!!!!

And the ones who are sending my posts to Goa... Get a RL life as cop instead and go get som muggers

Dont think you will find many peeps who think using DAoX itself is cheating.

Reality is that most peeps (not all) use DAoX to run buffbots or second account crafters.

THIS is someting a lot of players feel strongly about, no-one really cares about DAoX, but lots consider buffbots to be against the essence of the game.

I wouldn't worry too much about being reported. I remeber hearing once that Kemor posted a link to exploiter.com or somthing stupid.

I dunno, it was on a channel or somthing. Fuck it, i don't use DAoX anyway i'm too poor to own a buffbot and too lazy to harrass those that do.
