Daox...still works ???

Just a quick question.............anyone know if daox still works running 2 classic accounts??

Propably, if it's been updated... Running 2 SI-clients with 512mb and a 1.7GHz AXP in 1024x768 is jerky atleast

I haven't been able to get DAoX to work at all recently.

Um, you dont actually need DAOX anymore...
You can run more than one event of the game at once as stated in Patch notes, i do quite happily

as said earlier you need 512 mb ram and apparently also a 1.7 GHz AXP (thats the same as cpu?) and run in 1024X768 (probably meant windows).

So no most people cant run 2 daoc accounts at the same time at the moment

Well I run a 1.8 Athlon, 512 Mb RAM, and a GF Ti4200, and I can happily run 2 accounts on one machine.

1 account runs in 1024, the other in 800. No lag, no jerkyness, no hassel.

If you can't run 2 on a 1700 machine, theres something wrong with your PC. GFX Card possibly?

Mine is 512 ram but only a 1.5 gig cpu and crappy gfx card
You do ofc get lag on the 2nd window so /stick is out of he question. And strangly enough it didnt work with the latest nvidia Gfx drivers so i went back to the ones that were bundled with the card and its fine now.

for some reason i never got daox to work, but now that you can alt+tab no problems for me

No problem with running two clients on SI if you have a decent enough PC (and two accouts with SI).

However, if you haven't, and you need to either: a) run one SI account and one classic client or b) run two classic clients... then you will need this edited game.dll:

And then you can run two classic clients. But to run an SI and a classic at the same time you must start the SI client first, then the classic one, or the SI one will say you already have camelot.exe running.
