You can use these as you want: Flippant's XSL Files

This is for: Ppl who want to add dynamic (live) data to their fan sites. You'll need some basic understanding of html.

If you understand xml/xsl/JS/vb type of coding, then these files should be a nice short-cut to producing your own.

Anyway, been tinkering with xsl stuff for a bit now - certainly can't claim to be experty or that. But, do want to share what I have, since ppl do ask :)

Here's my site, so you can see what xsl gives to a fan site: xsl gives a heck load of dynamic content. Stuff that updates by itself and so on. Chosen

The files I've put together are meant for ppl using Guildportal.com as their Guild web hoster. If you know something about php/asp or even JS, then you can use these xsl files there too :) But don't ask me about that hehe :) gp.com do the wizzy transform stuff for me.

What are these files?
XSl files are used to translate gobble-gook xml into something more presentable.

Here's an example:
The guild roster for my oldie guild is here: guild.xml
Now look at it when I use an xsl file to format the data: chosen_leader_boards

The XSL (putting it in basic terms) formats the raw data from GOA.

How do I use these files?
Simple answer is use guildportal.com to host your guild site.
If not, then you'll need to understand something about either PHP or ASP server-side coding. It's possible to use VB script - but that limits you to only IE5+ clients.
