DAoC Type Lag :(

Anyone else notice how lag is starting to appear even when the server just has 2 pips ?

I've been playing on Protector with a US friend, and the previous few sessions have been fine, but tonight I've been DCed 3 times and been unable to connect to the accounts DB once

Looking at the /b comments, it looks like most people on the server were suffering, don;t know about the others (i.e. virtue).

Hmmm... I was lagging for the first time ever yesterday.
Was in the afternoon so hardly US prime-time.

I had some probs last night (around 1 am) as well but they seem to have cleared up now.

Caz warped a few times last night though, oddly, it was fine for me and we were in the same zone (and sharing the same connection). No lctms though. In fact, haven't had any for a long while.

I later (early hours for us - guess who's off work and being sad) played with my mezzer on Triumph (wish I coulkd move characters between servers, only created this one to change my screen settings as I had driver problems locking me out of my main), and it was fine.

Scarilly, despite being slow, at lvl 4, I could solo 2 orange con lvl 6s/

orange con minions? shouldn't be a problem at level 4

O.k. the game is proverbially fecked at the moment.

Has been relatively o.k. this lunch time, but as the UK afternoon started to go along there have been some serious lag issues. Now it's so bad I lost contact to a map server withina mission map ! - net result is I've got to start the damn thing again.

I hope this is curable else a rather enjoyable game will be unplayable.
