Noticed that its lots of times the same people who have LD at same time and afterwards have to patch/unpatch etc.

bredbandsbolaget.se and telenet.be seems to have this problem.

can someone confirm please? I know at least 10 Telenet users that have this, and some bredbandsbolaget.se people like teh_kev etc...

as u prolly notice, the response time is bad at the opentransit level.

is there anyway you can help me (either informing the opentransit peeps or so?)?

5 seconds lag in daoc as a seer ... kinda hurts ;)

I've known this issue for a long time too, why the hell do you let a nice and playable connection go thorugh london and back, and fuck it all up by doing that >_<

Us Bredbandsbolaget.se users had the same problem but talked to the company who owned the switches and had them change the routing, its been quite ok since...

The only problem i have now is that (not very often) when i go ld the patchserver redirects me to us, this happends on 90% of my ld's.

You can clearly see your problem here:

7 10 ms 10 ms <10 ms ae0-16.mp2.Brussels1.Level3.net [212.3.239.82]
8 20 ms 10 ms 20 ms so-1-0-0.mp1.London1.Level3.net [212.187.128.1]
9 30 ms 10 ms 20 ms gige1-2.core2.London1.Level3.net [212.187.131.166]

Try to find out witch company who owns those switches and give them an email... who knows, they might be able to change the routing.

Call me a smartass Bash but 500ms thats 0.5 seconds where I live. :p

I sometimes have very very anoying lag when my brother launchs Kazaa. It doesnt affect my downstream at all but eats all my upstream. Everything around me happens without delay but my spells/styles go off with a 3-5 sec delay. THAT is pain!
