DAoC - no crafting, but multi-language!

Current problems I got after Mythic took over:

I cannot craft. The crafting-window only displays something like "@@46" and is otherwise empty. The icons are just "?" for the tradeskills themselves.
Doesn't matter if I use a custom UI or the default one.
So anyone else got that problem? And eventually a solution.

The other one is this:
I seem to be downloading german language files all the time. Atleast some of the text ingame is german, and the splash-screens with the game-tips are german as well. And the patcher! Everything else is (mostly) english.
Anyone know which configuration file decides about the language?

in the main directory theres a folder called user ive got a file caled user settings and this is what it says in editor,,

<Config>
<Language name="english" />

</Config>



theres allways the patch dat but not sure if thats used nowadays as wel.

but im using a old copy of camalot yours might be LoTM or somit

dont take the format of user dat as i wrote it cause im sure i deleted somit lol just look at yours see if its the same'ish

took a look and right clicked camalot .exe and properties and last tab at the bottom says language english (usa) might help

the "patch.dat" isn't used anymore. Mythic uses the "patch.cfg".

You got a folder called "User" under your DAoC directory? Don't have that one. Or is it under the windows user?
"Camelot.exe" ist English (United States)

ive got a user folder in daoc directory maybe a leftover from goa days

i know when i installed a us copy for ywain ages ago they put like a ea folder in users window file or on my c drive,
but this time i aint got it i had german discs and did the patch.dat to english before goa closed up.

Downloading the US client atm, then follow the guide in the General section.
Let's see if anything changes

The bug with the tradeskills is caused by the file "ifd.mpk" in "/data" folder.
Replaced it with an old one and now the tradeskills are back where they belong.
