DAOC freezes at loading screen.

Bought a new PC. ATI 96 Radeon XT ; 1G Ram ; 2.8 GHz.
Installed XP. Last graphic drivers DirectX 9.0b.
Installed TOA patched everything looks ok.
When I start TOA, I logon. Get to the server select screen.
I select my main server I play on : Excaliber.
Hit Play, I get the loading screen. The last message I get is: Connected to Service and then, nothing happens.
Music keeps on playing, but I don't get any further.
BUT.
When I do the same thing and choose Prydwen server which I have only one /level 20 char on, Everything is ok.
The character selection screen loads fine and I can get into the game and play.

I also installed SI again. tried to logon with that on excaliber. same problem.

On my older PC I got no problems at all everything works fine.

Reported this on Rightnow, but maybe someone in here knows what to do.

PS. I tried the 98/ME compatibility, but then I don't even get to the server select screen.

Found the problem.
Read this and your mouth will fall open.:
I have 2 configurations at home.
1) Old PC. Win98 + Sygate Personal Firewall + connected to internet via an ADSL Router.
With this configuration I could play TOA no problem at all on any server.

2) New PC Win XP connected to internet via an ADSL Router.
With this configuration I could logon to all servers, except Excaliber.

When I connected setup 2 directly to the internet, I could logon to Excaliber, so one would say the problem lies in the ADSL router. but setup 1) works fine.

Final solution was found by installing Sygate program on setup 2 and now it also works via the ADSL router.

Is this strange or is it just me?
