DAoC and SOLO cards.

i have heard that the ability to pay with the debit card SOLO has been taken off the billing section, is this correct??...if so..why??...i know lots of people who pay using that method. And, not everybody has a Vias card (or wants one). I hope that there is another way of payment to non credit card users or it looks like the end of the game for me )o:

And, before anybody says "why not get a visa card then"...been there, seen it, done it...never gonna do it again. Long dark road to walk down.

Hopefully one of the GM's can verify that fact, and hopefuly explain why.

they used to take switch/solo but they are being replaced by maestro and visa electron and some other stuff. im sure goa will update when its all finalised.

Phew....was starting to panic as i am coming close to the end of my pay period...and can't access the subs bit to see what they take yet. Glad to hear they take that ((o:

I enquired to GOA about this change and I was told the steps I'd need to do to get solo cards back into the list.

=> 'Privacy' must be set on "ACCEPT ALL THE COOKIES".
=> 'Security' must be set on "LOW".
=>Close your browser and start it again, before trying a new login.

I did these 3 steps and logged into my account and low and behold solo cards were back in the list.

I'm geting my Visa card w/o credit ability tomorrow Already recieved the card number, checked in a cc checker, it fits

Visa debit cards are accepted everywhere a visa credit card is which means effectively everywhere credit cards are accepted on the planet and if you dont want to rack up credit (bad stuff) then its by far the most convienient debit card to get, pity iv got a Switch atm
