Damn CD bein stuborn

I'm trying to install Quake3 Maximum and the damn thing won't install. I got a -117 copying error while copying the pak0.pk3 file. I knew I shouldn't have uninstalled it Any suggestions?

Tried just copying the file across from the cd manually rather than using the installer?

Use DOS to copy it from the CD. GUI Apps allways get a bit unstable when copying large files, so textmode is best.
