This is a slightly random and pointless thread but...

I have been using Virgin Trains' Pendolino and Voyager services to travel from Birmingham to Dundee for about 7 months now. Being Scottish this means that I have to make regular trips to the shop for booze. Every time I pick up a nice cold can of beer I always notice a copy of your book Damini. Do you have some sort of deal with Virgin Trains or do they just choose a selection of books they deem suitable for Virgin Trains passengers?

This also goes to show that you can never escape Freddy's House.

You can run, but you can't hide! Look underneath your bed. There's a copy waiting for you there too. Unless your dog eared copy of the Karma Sutra scared it away, that is.

I only just heard about this the other day, so no, I don't have any incriminating photos of Richard branson stashed away for motivational leverage, and I don't have any specific contract with them. Maybe they just liked the book, or perhaps they have some kind of arrangement with Hodder (I prefer the first option!). How is it done? Is it in a shop on platforms? Or on a trolley? Or my favourite idea, a big magical book vending machine?

And of course I'm assuming you have at least nineteen copies of the book now, one to accompany each beer, eh Leggy? Huh? HUH?

I thought this thread was going to have some sort of love affair/love child revelation.
I feel robbed.

I met Richard Branson once, and had a pint with him! Hes a nice bloke. He owned my local rugby league club and I had a season ticket there for years.

This has no relevance to the thread, but its the only famous person I've ever met. :(
