Damage question

You know in some missions, the enemy is weak to a particular damage type, ie, Blood Raiders to EM. Well on my tengu, I get a 25% bonus to kinetic damage (5% per sub system level). Should I still be using the damage type the enemy is weak to, or should I stick with kinetic damage regardless because of the increased damage?

well, how good is their resists to kinetic?

if its to good then you still wont do as much damage as you do with a damage type they are weak against.

/edit: if its more then 25 - 30% then i'd say don't use kinetic.


/edit 2: seems like they have anywhere between 25 - 40% kinetic resists, so no i wouldn't bother with it.

Always set yourself up for the damage they are weak against. It also depends on range though and if you are missile or gunnery.
