Damage from chanter pets

Anyone know what type of damage chanter pets cast? Trying to find the right resist to protect against the millions of half wit chanters abusing the los on camlann

They should be heat

I have 32 heat and they still hit for ~170 ....

Well if the owner of the pet is smart and is mana he first debuff the target and then send the caster pet after ya

they are heat and go fine with debuff&ench casting hes base dd for 560+

remember that chanters can buy ra's to let the pet nukes crit and increase in damage generally etc...

I thought it was heat myself when i was attacked i switched to heat resist chant and it didnt make a slight bit of difference, i was being hit evry 3 secs for 56 damage by a level 18 chanters pet who i couldnt get anywhere near to, need less to say with my sucky hp i didnt last long.

Actually, that would be silly, as the victi .. erhm... opponent would have you, the chanter, targetted immediately. You dont want that.

Let the pet get halfway through its first cast, start casting the debuff, proceed to let the vict.. erhmm opponent - whack the pet while you kill him from behind a tree with a combo of stun-nuke-nuke-nuke.

Ofc, if you're fighting even con, the victim is already dead when you see him and you can disregard above advice.
