Ok, here goes .....

Does TOA the +% to spell/melee/archery dmg actually increase the dmg cap or just increase the damage up to the cap?

they´re increasing the cap... that´s what´s making it so difficult in templates etc. :)

btw.. if you delve the item, it says Bonus to consitution attribute bonus cap 4% or something ;)

Thats correct for +cap bonus, ie +7 str cap bonus. However you havent answered for the +melee dammage, + style dammage etc

my cap on pbaoe dmg increased when i got extra % magic damage, so yes, it increases the damage cap.

Tareregion, how did you test this or is it just from looking at your rvr dmg?

I'm curious to know if the extra % dmg is simply increasing dmg cap or is also increasing dmg and if so, when the extra dmg is added, before or after resists.

May sound slightly anal but I'm trying to work out how useful +dmg% items are.
As they are such a pain in the ass to get if its after resists its not wonderful unless you have a high % debuffer.
Or if its a load of old tripe like half the assumptions we seem to make about the wonderful new abilities.
Same goes for resist pierce items, are they in addition to debuff's or do they stack?

questions, questions, questions, imao where's Pin when you need him?

well if u think about logically, +% melee / magic dmg increases actualy dmg dealt, cos its the exact same bonus u get from relics.

it increase dmg and dmg cap and it has nothing to do with resists :l

Now iam not sure about relics = % from toa
Relics will make u hit u cap easyer not go over it ?

Or do i think Ilogical :/

Aye, relics makes it easier to get closer or to you cap dmg, not above .The toa bonuses raise your cap dmg. Go hit a lvl 1 mob and see what dmg you do, put on or take off the +% melee or caster dmg and see what cap dmg youll get when you hit another of those. Since there so low youll hit for cap all the time.
