No Joy here either.

Luckily scan.co.uk has everything my avaricious heart could desire (check out the 'today only' page).

Yep its a gonner.. for now..

I was about to dish out £299 for a GeForce3 from Simply a couple of days ago.. after almost passing out for finding somewhere that had one in stock.. and in the time it took me to find my credit card.. the database had updated and there were none left.. arghh...

Now I'm gonna have to sit back and wait again till BestBuyUk get them in stock and sell me one at £292.. then I can get around to building my new computer.. it all hinges on this one card!

£300 Pound for a GFX card?

In my day you could get a voodoo card for nothing but a quick sexual favour off of your sister!

But shes broken now :-/

somebody mentioned Scan.co.uk above - a lot of my PC parts I intend to buy come form there, do you know if they charge P&P (UK, Bolton to Cambridge), cause I know Dabs dont, but I cant find the information anywhere on the Scan site.

I use scan a lot cos the're cheap.

They lose the odd parcel :/
RMA (Returns) are a pain in the ass.
75% of their Ram don't work

But I'm still a customer cos the're cheap and have interesting stuff. My GF3 Should be here tomorrow :)

I never saw the point in buying a GF3 tbh. By the time games come out that will use it, Radeon II and Geforce 4 will be here.

Same here Emb :D
soon as I see that it _really_ doesn't cut the mustard anymore, then I'll upgrade.
the only thing I can see myself buying is a tft screen, but I'd want a large one [equal to or greater than my 19" iiyama] and they're expensive :(

My dad's got a crap computer so I was getting some stuff to upgrade his and also more meory for my mum's computer. He's stuck in the dark ages with 64 MB and win95. So I ordered 2 sticks of 128 (one for each machine) and a 20 gig HD. Plus some software to make his transition to winME comfortable. :)

How ironic it should be something to do with Windows ME when it goes down ;)
