Has anyone managed to get a D-Link DSL-100D internal DSL modem installed on WinXp?

I checked the D-Link website and downloaded the XP driver. Tried to update the driver and pointed it to the directory with the unziped files and it tells me there is no driver files in that directory.

Theres no .exe's in their either... There are some files with .sy_ and .dl_ extensions which leads me to beleive these files are still compressed.

The D-Link web site reckons Win XP should auto detect the hardware... but that doesnt happen either. Googles turned up no usefull information...

Im stumped tbh.

Sussed it...

I used the "Install specific driver" option and pointed it towards the .inf in the correct directory.

For some reason, the "search for driver in location xxx" option refused to beleive that the WinXp driver was compatible with the hardware.

Its installed and working anyrate...
