Cyclop's Eye

I just wonder. Scarlette and I have been camping the Cyclop's Eye since
6 PM yesterday and it still haven't popped. Is it a bug or is
that bloody encounter set to pop after days, weeks months?

Please advice, I'm getting annoyed he he he

It can be a long spawn iirc... I haven't done it for a long time.
If you want to know if the encounter is up or not, West from the slope are some trees(in clipping range) a lone Centaur stands there and you can talk to him. If the Centaur is there, the encounter is ready. I haven't confirmed this, but it was true when I farmed CE.

I check that encounter every time I'm passing close by .. which is probably like 10 times a week .. did so since second week of toa and so far I found it up like 7 times .. so it's probably on a loooooong poptimer.

And I do always check the twins .. but I've never ever seen them up.

Theres a few different ways of getting this artifact.

1. The 'usual' encounter - I guess thats what your camping
2. As someone mentioned: Kleps & Klops. 2 other named Cyclops that spawn nearby. Not particularly common but worth checking for.
3. From a normal cyclops. Some of the cyclops in the area have a shield, very occasionally youll see 1 is using the artifact shield. Kill it and it drops. Had 5-6 drop in this way.

So just killing cyclops in the area gives you a chance of getting it - and should help to reduce the boredom of camping
