No you can level it from Jotuns and those (fairly) new mobs in the frontier. Probably also from Raumarik cyclops as well.

Cyclopses in GG and Arbor Glen, Jotuns in Vanern, those ravenclan giants thingies in Pennine Mts. and so on ...

Ravenclan Giants behind Berks are great for xp. Outpost bonus and camp bonus goes up fast, but patrols sometimes roam there.

Confirmed that Hrimthursa gives XP to this shield - have gotten run over twice by albs when trying to reach the knights near hulks in DF tho.
