CV NS pierce/spellpierce temp

[Phibe]

Pro's: -supposedly sick dmg output...i hope...(CV rapier as mainhand with v high DD proc which benefits from spellpierce; and nice debuffs on offhand to buff base physical dmg in addition to that)
-with CV magic myth you get quite cool overall ToA's imho
9 to melee ToA's and 9spellpierce, 8 spelldmg,4 spellrange , 3 casting speed
-all armor parts can proc (no shitty slayer armor without proc chance) + omnis benefit also from spell pierce and gov proc is nice also in fights vs more than one

Con's: -not at all perfect base stats, but i hope the dmg output makes up for it, just planning to have some dmg fest in CV and move outta there at prolly rr4 or so...
-really low spirit resists, env not capped,fixed mainhand (but tbh in CV not many options of good weapons anyway)

Spent an eons tinkering and I can't get anything to match it better in terms of ToA stats.. credit where credit is due Phibe .

Right, I've gone with something that'll fit my style of play, I'm far and away more gung-ho then you are and thus am aiming for a tiny bit more solidity in terms of stats/sists and such.. I felt urked that I couldn't play in a template with only 20% crush . My effort on this is..

No spell damage is a minus point, and no envenom but I've always played this way so it's more to cater to my playstyle rather then anything else. It's a bastard to try bring this together however.

Right, I've gone with something that'll fit my style of play, I'm far and away more gung-ho then you are and thus am aiming for a tiny bit more solidity in terms of stats/sists and such.. I felt urked that I couldn't play in a template with only 20% crush . My effort on this is..

No spell damage is a minus point, and no envenom but I've always played this way so it's more to cater to my playstyle rather then anything else. It's a bastard to try bring this together however.

aren't you a lurikeen ? then i dont get why 20% crush is a prob and why do you want spellpierce if you do not cap envenom ? envenom skill on char level means, in addtion to not haveing to swap items to apply poisons, also minimized dmg variance, like on casters basically. and you only gain some hits and some crush resist, and lose some toa stats and ...well ofc, as you prefer mate but i dont really get it

when you fight a svg in there the dmg gain from capped env + viper + spellpierce gives you the chance to kill the svg and not the 50 or 100 hits more, besides i would have gone mad having to swap items to reapply poisons after a fight, i often had to that so fast with all the weaps because the next potential victim (or even victims) was approaching my camping spot at mmg or amg
just my thoughts tho, have fun in CV its really a nice BG if not the best

btw what jerkin is that, does it proc at lvl 49 ?

I never knew that tbh, always thought +11 was purely for the ease of swapping out.. baring in mind the last time I played an assasin was waaaay back on ToA Mordred so my knowledge is terrible.

Dragon Vest.. unsure whether it procs to be honest. Probably doesn't actually.. back to the drawing board.

On the crush resists, I'm quite OCD about numbers haha, simply because I couldn't do something unless it was matching the way in which it felt right. I've abandoned characters before because I couldn't get templates to have everything perfect.

One thing I will ask, is did you find much use in SoM? I've never been a massive fan but can understand the reasoning behind having it in there as the proc can be a lifesaver. Did you find it useful in CV?

tbh SoM is a must, especially when using alot of crafted armor which you do in CV. and with spell duration items you can get the buff to 12,5 minutes duration...which results in 2,5 minute total downtime of the proc if you dont die. there are not many "must have" items left in this game, but for soloing melees whether they are stealthers or visibles SoM is definitely one of them, imo.
