i was Bubble the level 1 Guardian for a short ammount of time

Well I deleted and moved to mid,changed my mind and went hib..aaaaaand changed my mind again and went back to alb,only to find that my chars couldn't be restored,so now I'm Derric the lvl 4 rogue and Farrell the lvl 13 merc

just curious, why can't they be restored ?
