Ive had a few weird experiences where my mouse cursor disappears for no apparent reason. It happens mostly when I have daoc runnin minimized and open korts SC prog...thats almost a sure thing, but sometimes it also happens when I just play daoc. Only reason I can see that can cause it atm is the fact that I use a different resolution in desktop and daoc. Can anyone confirm that or mebbe shed some light on my problem?

If you need specs lemme know..dont wanna bother if they dont matter :)

Also been having a 2nd problem which Im almost positive Ive narrowed down, but would like to have that confirmed aswell ;)

Sometimes after long periode of playing daoc(rvr in particular) my gfx will cock up and the comp freezes...it doesnt distort gfx as such...but removes details...or simplifies if you will. I have been checkin my gfx card temp and under heavy load it can easily reach high 60s and sometimes even early 70s. Its a GF 6600GT. Its threshold temp is 12x degrees..so its at no risk of being damaged, but Ive read several places that it shouldnt reach those temps. Can anyone confirm?

Hope you can make heads or tails of it all :p tired atm..ill reread tomoz.

In Windowed mode you're using the Windows pointer.

Control Panel > Mouse > Pointer Options > Hide Pointer When Typing

Worth a go.

Thx, ill give it a go.

For my other problem I now had a chance to SS the gfx bug...and also got an error report from windows on my GFX card this time...

szAppName : Drivers.Display szAppVer : 10DE0140A281A41043
szModName : nv4_disp.dll szModVer : 6.14.10.8194 Offset : 7A9B06EA

If anyone can tell me what this means pls do ;)

Sounds like video card drivers causing problems. Graphical glitches and errors from the nvidia display drivers would point to that as the first place to look if your sure your cards not cooking (and your temps are a bit on the dangerous side).

Your error basically says 'Display drivers crashed in the bit nvidia is in charge of'.
