Why are the DAoC crowd always being persecuted by the generalites when we make up the largest population on this forum? Shouldn't we rule over the generalites and make them do our laundry or something? :eek7:

Rofl, I read 2 threads here and one is a damn good one (euthanasia) and this one a very silly one.
As a non-daoc player I am not sure I should post here (see even now the segregation (sp?) starts).
First of all yes a few generalites think the daoc forum should not be here, why? cause of there are in absolute terms more twats, spammers and fools here. Imho it would be throwing away the baby with the bathwater.
Second another point I would like to make is that DAOC'ers feel that generalites are persecuted because they play Daoc, this is not the case. The trouble is that the spammers, twats and fools ruined it for the rest of the Daoc community, and instead of the community acting up against the trouble makers it went the other way. The community stands up for the troublemakers and that imho is foolish. I believe that if any forum community tries to police itself (with mods) would be a nice forum and one that would be welcomed everywhere.
As for the generalites being friends with the mods .... lol just like in the Daoc forum there were/are fools in the general forum and the general forum did the same thing as the daoc forum, the only diverance is that the generalites learned their lesson. On a personal note I know 2 mods and they are good people, being a mod is a crappie job but someone has to do it.

On a personal note why dont you all try to post some nice threads in the general forum? caus some of the title threads look interesting. And its beats the hell out of trying to be sorry for yourself, this forum could be lovely place but to be so needs the effort from both sides.

I'm not feeling sorry for myself, I was just making a general observation. The only reason I don't post in the general section is because if, hypothetically, I was to make an inflammatory comment the general response would be:

"Oh and who are you then?"
"Ignore him. He is one of the twats from DAoC."

I've seen it happen many times before and I really can't be arsed to try and worm myself into the generalite community; too much effort. :)

By the way, this isn't a silly thread because if you look at the numbers of people viewing the forums during the day you will see that the people browsing the DAoC forums are usually double the number of those browsing the General forums.

This forum is a lovely place and is far less spammy than general. It is also a far more pleasant posting environment. You opinions on this forum as at the moment build on rumour and hearsay, and I think if you read the forum over the next week you would realise you are mistaken in how you think of us.

i guess these spammers twats and fools are doing something to you? they are invading your forums and talking bs on your part of FH?

fyi thats the 3rd euthanasia discussion i've had with these guys on a forum ... as you can guess, it gets quite gay after the first 2 attempts. this may be spam yes, but its either this or nothing because everything else worth discussing is/has been (done to death i may aswell add) discussed.

people such as yourself blacky are what this thread is about. if you think we havn't discussed things such as euthanasia, child pornography and the bible in the whole time BW/FH has been up, think again.

Nuked, he wasnt saying we didnt discuss, quite the opposite. He just said that some individuals ruin it for us, thus it is our fault that they steriotype... Apparantly.

Yet they have their fair share of spamming twats who contribute literally nothing (Clown for instance) to the forums. However I have the intelligence to know that they arent all clowny...

So, Blacky, you can come here and preach all you like but the fact is I make only decent posts, and I only reply to decent threads - which is why I ended up in eOT. I most certainly dont need to go to the general forums and prove it to the likes of you.

You may not know it but if you search back to the beginning on the forums you will find that nearly every single generalite was infact a DAoC player. :p
